supra_mom Jan 5 Insulation in Questions & Answers Hi, I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida and was wondering what insulation to use behind EnduraFlood, I want something that won’t absorb water and still be fire resistant, I was going to use closed cell ridged foam boards with a 15 minute thermal barrier so I can just take it out clean and dry it after next flood, but the foam boards even with a thermal barrier still concerns me because they are highly combustible, is there a better way to insulate block walls? Marc P Oct 27 Enduraflood with plaster walls in General Discussion My home has plaster walls. Plaster walls have a thickness of around 7/8". What would be the solution to install Enduraflood panels? 1/4" Shims are an option for the ENDU-BOARD (to connect to 5/8" drywall) but maybe people have other ideas. I'd also love to use ENDU-KOARD in at least one room (which seems to be meant for 1/2 drywall). Any good idea for using those with plaster walls? Jposs Dec 12 Shipping in Questions & Answers How is the product shipped? Is it packaged in boxes that say what's inside? Is it shipped so its visible? Is it shipped in plain cartons? The reason I ask is our local code enforcement is prowling the area requiring permits for such minor things and baseboard replacements et al. and I'm not really competent to go through the hassle of applying for a permit to replace wainscoting. Cindy Sep 6 Cutting back drywall- height in Questions & Answers Hi, I am in Vermont and we were flooded twice in 2 years, last one being 1 month ago. Anticipating more flooding, this system seems to be exactly what we need. We had a company cut the drywall back 28 inches already. What is the exact height we should cut if we want to get the 33 inch panels? I thought I read somewhere that you install a few inches higher than the floor? Can someone clarify that for me? Chris - Beach To Bay Services Apr 3 Installation around prefab stairs with railing and outside corner to deal with in General Discussion Working for a customer fixing hurricane damage and this is first time installing product. Looking for some advice on how to navigate this situation. The height for cut was right in line with where railing attaches. The panels dont appear to work next to stairs because I can’t get behind to install base-klips or baseboard to hold it in place. Also there is an outside corner to deal with where it meets stairs on other side. Rest of house was “easier” once I learned the product but this section has me stumped. Any thoughts? Helen P Oct 26 ordering 2 different panel types in Questions & Answers I am working on my order- I called Customer service and since it is Sat, I am assuming I will not hear back until Monday, so thought I would post here. I am ordering 2 different panel types for different rooms (EnduBoard and EnduKoard) and do not want to pay shipping on 2 separate orders. I think I can build one order for one room and put into cart and then do the other . Does that seem correct? Then they would ship together and I would pay only one shipping fee?
