A Non-Gypsum Waterproof Drywall Replacement System for Flood-Prone Areas
The EnduraFlood UNI-BASE is a waterproof baseboard mounting and finishing trim engineered for use with the EnduraFlood flood-resistant wall system in areas exposed to flooding, storm surge, and high water conditions. Unlike traditional baseboard trim that can absorb water, swell, and promote mold growth, UNI-BASE is made from a durable, waterproof inorganic polymer composite that will not absorb water, swell, deteriorate, or support mold growth.
Designed specifically as part of the EnduraFlood waterproof drywall system, UNI-BASE provides a clean, decorative transition from ENDU-BOARD wall panels to the floor, featuring a subtle quarter-round top profile reminiscent of conventional baseboard trim.
Why Choose UNI-BASE Instead of Traditional Baseboard Trim?
Standard baseboard trim is vulnerable to water damage. Even minimal exposure can result in swelling, warping, and conditions that promote mold growth behind the wall. UNI-BASE offers a true waterproof baseboard trim solution designed for:
- Basements
- Coastal homes
- Flood zones
- Hurricane-prone regions
- Post-disaster rebuilding projects
Because it is made from a waterproof inorganic polymer composite, UNI-BASE will not deteriorate after direct water exposure. After a flood event, the trim remains intact and supports easy panel removal for drying and inspection.

EnduraFlood UNI-BASE, 95" long
UNI-BASE is installed using 8 x 1-3/4 cabinet screws that are counter sunk into the UNI-BASE and after drilling a pilot hole into the wooden stud. After UNI-BASE is cut to size, pilot drill 1/8" holes through UNI-BASE and the ENDU-BOARD into a wooden stud. Use a 3/8" drill to countersink holes into UNI-BASE.
Mount UNI-BASE by screwing 8 x 3/4" cabinet screws through pilot holes into studs. Close 3/8" counter sink hole in UNI-BASE using 3/8" hole plugs.
