The EnduraFlood CHAIR-RAIL/A is a decorative waterproof chair rail finishing trim engineered for use with the EnduraFlood flood-resistant wall system in areas exposed to flooding, storm surge, and high water conditions. Unlike traditional wood chair rail trim that can absorb water, swell, and promote mold growth, CHAIR-RAIL/A is made from a durable, waterproof inorganic polymer composite that will not absorb water, swell, deteriorate, or support mold growth.
Designed specifically as part of the EnduraFlood waterproof drywall system, CHAIR-RAIL/A provides a refined horizontal accent that creates a clean transition between drywall above and waterproof ENDU-BOARD panels below. CHAIR-RAIL/A snaps into RAILI-HOLD/12 (for 1/2" drywall) or RAILI-HOLD/58 (for 5/8" drywall) for a secure, decorative fit.

EnduraFlood CHAIR-RAIL/A, 95" long
RAILI-HOLD/12 is stapled to wooden studs with a common staple gun, using 3/8" crown staples of 3/8" length. Once mounted, ENDU-BOARD panels are napped into place from underneath. Common 0.42" cement boards can also be used.
CHAIR-RAIL/A is snapped in behind RAILI-HOLD/12 for a snug fit. The ENDURA-BOARD or cement board panels can be removed and reused if needed in the future.
