For your EnduraFlood installation, you can choose between two different types of wall panels: the ENDU-BOARD type, as shown on the left, and a common cement backer board, as shown on the right.

Both types of boards can be used with EnduraFlood, and both types can be painted with common water-based indoor paint.

ENDU-BOARDS are strong, lightweight, and easy to cut. ENDU-BOARDS have a flat surface similar to that of drywall.

ENDU-BOARDS are purchased from and shipped to you by EnduraFlood. Cement boards of forty-second inch thickness are also compatible with the EnduraFlood system.

They have a wonderfully textured surface, and they are typically available from local home improvement stores. You may find that these boards are heavier and harder to cut than ENDU-BOARDS.

To provide a snug fit, ENDU-BOARDS are used with EnduraFlood’s ENDU-SPACERS. Simply stick one spacer approximately every twelve inches to either the board or to the trim, as shown here.

Common forty-second inch cement boards should be slightly deburred with a file or similar tool before being fitted. In most cases, ENDU-SPACERS are not required for cement boards.
