A Non-Gypsum Waterproof Drywall Replacement System for Flood-Prone Areas
The EnduraFlood ENDU-PLUG is a waterproof finishing plug engineered for use with the EnduraFlood flood-resistant wall system in areas exposed to flooding, storm surge, and high water conditions. Unlike traditional hole plugs that can absorb water and deteriorate, ENDU-PLUG is made from a waterproof inorganic polymer composite that will not absorb water, swell, deteriorate, or support mold growth.
Designed specifically as part of the EnduraFlood waterproof drywall system, ENDU-PLUG is used to close the 3/8" countersink holes drilled into UNI-BASE baseboard trim for mounting purposes. ENDU-PLUG can be pushed into place easily and removed easily using a flat screwdriver or any other suitable tool.
Why Choose ENDU-PLUG Instead of Traditional Hole Plugs?
Standard hole plugs are vulnerable to water damage. Even minimal exposure can result in swelling, discoloration, and conditions that compromise the finished appearance of the baseboard. ENDU-PLUG offers a true waterproof finishing plug solution designed for:
- Basements
- Coastal homes
- Flood zones
- Hurricane-prone regions
- Post-disaster rebuilding projects
Because it is made from a waterproof inorganic polymer composite, ENDU-PLUG will not deteriorate after direct water exposure. After a flood event, the plugs remain intact, helping simplify drying and recovery.
