How to fix nicks and dings in EnduraFlood boards
In this post, we will demonstrate how to repair small nicks and dings that may occur during the installation of EnduraFlood boards.
For this repair, you will need standard drywall joint compound, a flexible wallboard tool, sandpaper, and standard latex interior paint.
Using the flexible wallboard tool, spread the joint compound over the damaged area. Fill the nick or ding completely, then smooth the compound so it blends evenly with the surrounding surface.
Allow the joint compound to dry completely. Once dry, gently sand the repaired area until it is smooth. We recommend using sandpaper with a grit of at least 200 or higher for the best results.
After sanding, paint the repaired area using standard latex interior paint. Apply at least two coats for complete and even coverage, allowing the paint to dry between coats.
And there you have it. The nicks and dings are gone, leaving the EnduraFlood board with a clean, finished appearance.
