The EnduraFlood UNI-BASE is a mounting and finishing baseboard trim designed specifically for use with the EnduraFlood waterproof and removable wall system. Engineered to provide a clean, decorative transition from ENDU-BOARD panels to the floor, UNI-BASE completes your flood-ready wall installation while enabling streamlined access and recovery after water exposure.
Key Features & Benefits
Waterproof Wall Transition Trim: UNI-BASE creates a seamless baseboard transition from EnduraFlood’s ENDU-BOARD wall panels to the floor.
Part of a Flood-Ready System: Designed as an integral component of the EnduraFlood waterproof drywall replacement system, the trim supports the panel system’s ability to withstand water exposure and promote easier post-flood recovery.
Clean Finish: Made from white PVC with a subtle quarter-round top profile, UNI-BASE complements ENDU-BOARD panels and other trim pieces with a smooth, finished baseboard look.
Facilitates Inspection & Drying: Like other EnduraFlood trim components, UNI-BASE supports panel removal so walls can be opened, inspected, and dried after a flood event — without demolition.
Durable PVC Construction: Resists water, mold, and deterioration so your base trim maintains its integrity in wet environments.
How It Works
UNI-BASE is installed at the lower edge of the EnduraFlood panel assembly to secure and finish the panel base. It accepts EnduraFlood screws through pilot holes into framing members, creating a consistent baseboard profile that both conceals hardware and allows installed panels to be removed as needed for drying or inspection in post-flood recovery.
Ideal Applications
EnduraFlood UNI-BASE is ideal for any interior space using the EnduraFlood panel system — including:
Basements and lower walls in flood-prone homes
Coastal houses and hurricane-vulnerable living areas
First-floor spaces where moisture intrusion is a concern
By pairing UNI-BASE with ENDU-BOARD panels and complementary trims like UNI-TRIM, you get a wall system that performs under water exposure and simplifies recovery — all while delivering a polished finish.
EnduraFlood UNI-BASE, 95" long
UNI-BASE is installed using 8 x 1-3/4 cabinet screws that are counter sunk into the UNI-BASE and after drilling a pilot hole into the wooden stud. After UNI-BASE is cut to size, pilot drill 1/8" holes through UNI-BASE and the ENDU-BOARD into a wooden stud. Use a 3/8" drill to countersink holes into UNI-BASE. Mount UNI-BASE by screwing 8 x 3/4" cabinet screws through pilot holes into studs. Close 3/8" counter sink hole in UNI-BASE using 3/8" hole plugs.
