The EnduraFlood Chair Rail Trim is a finishing trim component designed to complement the EnduraFlood waterproof wall panel system. Engineered for use with non-gypsum ENDU-BOARD panels, this chair rail trim provides a refined, horizontal accent that enhances interior design while maintaining the performance benefits of a wall system built for flood exposure and post-flood recovery.
 
EnduraFlood is not ordinary drywall — it is a waterproof drywall replacement system that resists water damage and supports access for inspection and drying after water intrusion. Chair rail trim adds architectural detail without compromising the durability or recoverability of the system.

How It Works
Chair rail trim installs at a specified horizontal height between ENDU-BOARD panels or between panels and upper drywall surfaces by snapping into RAILI-HOLD/12 and RAILI-HOLD/58. It creates a decorative horizontal break in the wall while anchoring panels securely. Like all EnduraFlood trims, chair rail supports the system’s removability — so panels can be taken out for drying and inspection as part of post-flood restoration without demolition dust or rebuilding.

EnduraFlood CHAIR-RAIL/A is a finishing  trim for the vertical separation between 1/2" drywall above, and ENDU-BOARD or common 42" cement panels below. EnduraFlood CHAIR-RAIL/A is used in conjunction with RAILI-HOLD/12 as a base. After RAILI-HOLD/12 is mounted, EnduraFlood CHAIR-RAIL/A is clipped onto RAILI-HOLD/12.
 
  • Use in conjunction with RAILI-HOLD/12 trim (for 1/2" sheetrock) or RAILI-HOLD/58 trim (for 5/8" sheetrock), perfect for creating a transition from sheetrock to ENDU-BOARD panels
  • Allows for easy removal and re-use of the installed panels for inspection, or to allow the wall behind to dry out.

  • RAILI-HOLD/12 is stapled to wooden studs with a common staple gun, using 3/8" crown staples of 3/8" length. Once mounted, ENDU-BOARD panels are napped into place from underneath. Common 0.42" cement boards can also be used.

    CHAIR-RAIL/A is snapped in behind RAILI-HOLD/12 for a snug fit.  The ENDURA-BOARD or cement board panels can be removed and reused if needed in the future.
