I'm new at this so I may not understand fully. I intend to paint the entire wall the same color and if I don't want the white line of vertical trim in between each board...it looks too busy. Is there not a way to do that? Are you saying trim will scrape paint off the boards or vice versa? Thanks again for the help!

Hi Chris, I am awaiting delivery of my order submitted yesterday. If I am painting the entire wall (traditional drywall and the panels) the same color, is there any reason why I would pre paint the panels before install? Also, I have not seen or touched one of these panels! Are the plastic like? If so, does paint easily chip off them if scrapped? Thanks in advance.

Hi Richard... I'm a fellow "Rich" residing in Naples. I unfortunately also got hit in Helene and just ordered my replacement panels/system yesterday (10-1-24). Sounds like you have been through the whole process from install to removal and replacement. Any possibility we could speak over the phone so I may get a few tips and tricks? This is my 1st post here so I'm unfamiliar if that is a violation of the platform. Thanks!
