Installing Tile Above Endura-Board
-
Has anybody installed Hardie backerboard and tile above the Endura-Board? I am installing Endura Board in 2 bathrooms up to 51" from the ground and then installing Hardie and tile above that on all bathroom walls. I am trying to figure out the transition due to depth variations. The finish chair rail and trim are only designed for 1/2" or 5/8" finishes. With tile, I will be well beyond that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Before & after the hurricanes from last September. We were out of the house 10 months. Waiting on insurance takes forever.

Corners with different sized
-
Our room where we want to use the Enduraflood system has walls with different thickness of drywall, either 1/2" or 5/8". Is there a solution to handle corners where the different sizes meet?

Paint options
-
Hi, when painting the panels after roughing up a little with a 220 sandpaper, do you recommend using a PVC primer first before the water-based acrylic or latex paint? It is not mentioned in the video on how to paint the panels which is why I am masking. We do have three children with an active household, so I’m just curious if the PVC primer would add some longevity or not necessarily. Certainly don’t want to waste the time and money if it doesn’t add much

Sound proofing between rooms
-
Has anyone wished they added something for sound proofing between rooms with their Enduraflood? We have 3 children and are curious if this is something we should be considering. If so, any recommendations? Thanks in advance for any input!

Do I Need both Uni-Trim and Raili-hold?
-
The project builder put both in my cart. Seems to me I need one or the other , not both.

I finally broke down and purchased what I think is the identical one used in the youtube videos and I'm happy to report it works GREAT. I view it as a good thing that the TRIM is so robust. It did take a few trips to the box stores to get the right tool so if you are going to DIY, just start with the one that works and save some time.|

Powerful stapler needed
-
Hello everyone, for some reason it looks like a previous thread about this same topic is not available so I cannot add this to that one. I did want to drop a follow-up note so others wouldn't go through what I did. I tried two different staplers and three different brands of staples trying to find one that would go through the TRIM pieces. The following two were not powerful enough to get through the TRIM board and the staples simply folded.

Installing around a door
-
I saw the video about installing up to a door casing. Our casings are not present yet and I feel it would be cleaner looking if we installed up to the jam and then put the casing on top of the Enduraflood. Does anyone have any experience with this or a reason it may not work?

Reassembly of Panels after flood
-
I would label the panel in this order from Left to Right in each room.
To Put back the assembly after a flood, Install Vertical, then panel, then vertical, panel, Finally Base 1,2,3,4.....
(1) Room Id, (2)Vertical Trim label as A,B,C... (3) Panel ID..1,2,3,4... Wall Base ID..1,2,3,4,,.
"Bedrm, A-1-B-2-C-3...."
Wall base label Room ID..Bed-mtr, 1,2,3,....
