I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the Langston and Palmer in the Designer Suites. Also can the trim pieces be painted? Do most people leave white?
We installed this in the lower part of our home as a result of Idalia some time ago. We went with Harrington. We figured out at the time that the only difference between some of the suites are the colors and the different heights. I dont know about Langston vs palmer. There may be details on how they are mounted that you may want to check! The waintcoating ones are greenwood and albright. I just looked into those because we want to now do the rest of our house with this style. The material lists are 100% the same so its just the colors!
We painted the boards in an accent color and left the trim pieces as is. They are pretty thin, maybe 1/2 inch so thats the best look probably. The baseboard we also left unoainted but for the larger part of the house we will go for the upgraded look of Greenwood. We will paint the boards white and probably also the charrail . We got a sample kit to try this and for us its the best look. We will most likely also paint the baseboard white. Good luck!
Thank you! Just placed my order!
Thank you for the quick reply- one last questin- did you prime the boards first?
